So Saturday was terrible weather - rainy, windy. We later had a terrible storm. Sting lost the first game 2-0. This really concerned me because many of my son's schoolmates were on that team, but he still had hope. He also had a cold which was distracting him since his nose was running more than my faucet. The second game was also a defeat, prompting my valiant warrior to justifiably cry with disappointment.
I am so proud of this kid. His game has improved so much since last year. He plays with his heart & is a true team player. Despite the rotten weather Saturday, despite coming down with a cold, he scored the only goal of the day for his team. I couldn't have been more proud.
